It is normal if you have little idea, or no idea about what style you like. This is how we help. We do not impose a fixed look — we listen to how you want to live in your space, what your preferences are, and we design around that.

Yes, plant procurement is available as a standalone service even if the design was created elsewhere.

Pot size is matched to the plant's growth habit, your budget, and how quickly you want the garden to establish. Sometimes a plant is not available in the preferred pot size. Our expertise and industry connections allow us to substitute and adjust the plant quantities in line with seasonal availability.

Absolutely. The purpose of a garden design is to provide a comprehensive, detailed map of all plants - quantities, pot sizes, and position, allowing you or a contractor to procure and plant with precision.

Consultation

Around 90 minutes on-site, followed by a curated plant list delivered within a few days.

Absolutely. The consultation stands alone and gives you a complete plant list to take away and use however you like.

No problem. Add-ons can be booked at any time after your consultation, there is no expiry.

We'll spend time looking at your space. We'll talk about your vision for it, how you want to use it, and any challenges you've had with it so far. We will consider your preference (things you like and things you don't). We will answer any questions you have to the best of our ability, and will contribute as many ideas and solution as we can squeeze into the time. We are in your hands so come prepared with any reflections that will help us understand how to create a beautiful, functional outdoor space that meets your needs.

Our consultation service is designed for people needing help with just a small space (10-15m2). This could include introducing a new garden bed, revitalising an existing garden bed, or breathing life into a neglected space down the side of the house. Our expertise allows us to bring small spaces to life without a detailed planting plan - we intentionally specify only a limited plant palette that we know will work, and we can place these for maximum impact and success. For any garden larger than this, a complete planting design is essential.

No problem. Our complete planting design services always begin with a consultation. From this consultation we then provide a quote for the service, which will reflect the size and complexity of the design.

Absolutely. Our consultation service is ideal for courtyards, balconies, and other small outdoor spaces. We’ll help you assess what’s working, what isn’t, and recommend plants and containers suited to your conditions. We can also advise on pot and container selection, growing media, irrigation, and design ideas that align with how you want to use the space. You'll receive a tailored plant list to help guide your next steps.

Absolutely. We love working with people who are creating their own gardens. If you're looking for guidance on plant selection for a small area, a consultation and tailored plant list may be all you need. For larger gardens or projects involving multiple spaces, a complete planting design is often the better option. A planting design considers the entire garden as a whole. It includes plant selection, quantities, spacing, and exact placement, giving you a clear plan to follow and allowing you to purchase and install plants with confidence.
